Following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Cheng Shiu University, the Commerce Development Research Institute (CDRI), Yubai Information, and the ESG Sustainability Development Association on November 16, 2023, aimed at promoting ESG courses and certification in Taiwan's higher education institutions, a two-day "ESG Sustainability Assistant Manager Certification Teacher Training Workshop" was held on March 9 and 10 at Cheng Shiu University.

The workshop, hosted by the College of Management at Cheng Shiu University, covered key topics related to ESG sustainability and management, including an introduction to ESG, theoretical frameworks, climate change and carbon management, and resource management strategies.

Over the course of the intensive 12-hour program, participating faculty members not only received ESG Sustainability Assistant Manager certification and completion certificates from CDRI but also gained valuable insights into the core principles of ESG and best practices across various industries.

CDRI Dean Wang Jian-Bin and Cheng Shiu University College of Management Dean Zhou Xiu-Rong both emphasized that this workshop facilitates closer collaboration between academia and industry, equipping teachers to foster students' practical skills in the ESG field and further advancing the development of sustainability practices.
