Sustainability Governance Organization

Our university has established the "Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development Promotion Committee," chaired by the President. The committee includes administrative office directors and college deans as ex-officio members. Together, they supervise and identify the impacts and opportunities of the university's sustainable management, plan the university's sustainable development goals (including SDG indicators) and strategic directions, and cultivate social practice teams.

Social Responsibility andSustainable Development Promotion Committee 

Consider climate-related risks and opportunities, formulate sustainable action strategies and plans, and report on the implementation of climate change responses, energy-saving, and carbon reduction measures at administrative meetings. Form working groups based on specific functions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify sustainability-related impacts and opportunities.
  2. Oversee the impact management of sustainable school administration.
  3. Plan the School’s sustainable development goals and strategic directions.
  4. Promote and implement USR projects.

 

 


 

Office of Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development 

In 2021, our university established the "University Social Responsibility Office." In 2022, it was renamed the "Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development Office" to integrate all sustainability and social responsibility tasks across the university. The office is staffed by one director, one team leader, one administrative teacher, and two team members. They are responsible for coordinating project resources, consulting on innovative curriculum practices, auditing mid- to long-term university goals, and compiling results. Additionally, they report sustainability execution outcomes to the Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development Promotion Committee on a quarterly basis.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Organize social responsibility and sustainable development-related meetings.
  2. Organize social responsibility and sustainable development-related activities and achievement exhibitions.
  3. Collect sustainability-related achievements and compile the sustainability report.
  4. Manage CSU Sustainable Site.
