This year’s welcome event sparked eager anticipation among the digital learning companions! We welcomed two new schools, “Xinwei Elementary School” and “Xinfa Elementary School,” making the event even livelier! 

To deepen students’ understanding of the importance of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we organized two engaging learning activities: “SDGs GO GOALS Board Game” and “Water Resources Management Experience Board Game.” Through these games, university companions guided primary school partners to interactively explore the 17 SDGs and learn how to apply them in their daily lives. These activities not only increased students’ awareness of SDGs but also inspired them to become advocates for sustainable development.

In the afternoon, the theme continued with “GO GOALS: Guardians of Water.” We visited the scenic “Chengqing Lake Scenic Area,” the backyard of Chengchi University, where professional guides led us on an exploration called “Journey of Water Ecology.” During this activity, students had the opportunity to deeply understand the plant and water source ecology of Chengqing Lake and learned about the importance of the reservoir through the guide’s explanations. This journey not only allowed students to appreciate the beauty of nature but also educated them on how to protect water resources and become true guardians of water.
