Committee for The Promotion of Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development

CSU established the Committee for the Promotion of Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development, chaired by the President and composed of administrative and academic leaders as ex-officio members. The Committee oversees and identifies sustainability impacts and opportunities, sets development goals (including SDG targets) and strategic directions, and cultivates social engagement teams.

It also considers climate-related risks and opportunities, formulates sustainability action plans, and reports on climate change adaptation and carbon reduction progress. Functional task forces are formed as needed to execute specific initiatives.

Responsibilities：

1.  Identify sustainability-related impacts and opportunities.

2.  Oversee the impact management of sustainable school administration.

3.  Plan the School’s sustainable development goals and strategic directions.

4.  Promote and implement USR projects.

Office of Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development 

In 2021, the University established the Office of University Social Responsibility, which in 2022 was restructured as the Office of Social Responsibility and Sustainability to integrate all campus sustainability and social responsibility initiatives. The Office is headed by a Vice President, with one section chief and two staff members, responsible for coordinating project resources, providing consultation on innovative curriculum implementation, auditing medium- and long-term institutional goals, and compiling performance outcomes. Sustainability achievements are regularly reported to the Social Responsibility and Sustainability Promotion Committee.

Responsibilities：

1. Organize social responsibility and sustainable development-related meetings.

2. Organize social responsibility and sustainable development-related activities and achievement exhibitions.

3. Collect sustainability-related achievements and compile the sustainability report.

4. Ｍanage CSU sustainable site.
