Sustainable Governance Organization

The School established the USR Promotion Committee in April 2018 with the President as the convener, as well as the heads of administration offices and colleges as ex officio members to jointly supervise and identify the impact and opportunities of the School’s sustainable operations. The committee is also responsible for planning the School’s sustainable development goals (including SDG indicators) and strategic directions, and the training of social practice teams.

In terms of sustainability promotion, the School formed the USR Office in April 2021, and in 2022, it was renamed Office of Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development by integrating the School’s sustainability and social responsibility-related missions, featuring one office director, one team leader, one administrative teacher and two team members responsible for coordinating and planning resources, consulting on innovative curriculum practices, as well as the School’s mid and long-term goal auditing and achievement collection. Furthermore, the office regularly reports sustainable implementation achievements to the Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development Promotion Committee and the university assembly.
