2023 Sustainability Report
Cheng Shiu University is committed to global sustainable development and trends, actively fulfilling its university social responsibility.
By publishing the Sustainability Report, the university presents its efforts and achievements in sustainable management to all stakeholders and addresses the sustainability issues that concern them.
Reporting Period
This report is published annually. Given that the university operates on an academic year system, the primary disclosure period for this report is the academic year 2022 (August 1, 2022, to July 31, 2023), which coincides with the financial reporting period. Annual data is presented for the year 2023 (January 1, 2023, to December
31, 2023). To provide readers with more comprehensive sustainability information, some content includes data from previous years and academic years.

Scope of the Report
The scope of this report aligns with the financial report and includes Cheng Shiu University of Science and Technology's sustainable performance data in governance, economy, environment, and human aspects (including human rights). Financial figures are cited from the annual financial report audited by accountants and are presented in New Taiwan Dollars. Some performance data are limited by the completeness of statistical information, and their disclosure scope is noted in the report.

This report is prepared with reference to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) indicators of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Foundation, the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
