Supplier Bidding and Management 

The University has established the “Procurement Regulations of Cheng Shiu University” in accordance with the Government Procurement Act, outlining procedures and approval processes based on purchase amounts.

Suppliers primarily provide office equipment and materials, laboratory and engineering equipment, construction contracting, and human resource services such as cleaning and security. In 2024, the University engaged 1,337 suppliers, showing no significant change compared with the previous year.

Green Procurement 

The University’s procurement system is founded on principles of quality, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency, while aligning with government environmental policies by prioritizing the purchase of eco-friendly products. From 2017 to 2021, the University was recognized by the Kaohsiung City Government as an Outstanding Green Procurement Unit for five consecutive years.

In the past three years (2022–2024), the University’s total expenditure on energy-saving certified products reached NT$54,743,980, including desktop computers, monitors, projectors, laptops, laser printers, and other certified green equipment.

Supplier Evaluation 

The University has planned a supplier evaluation mechanism, scheduled for implementation in 2027. The evaluation will consider management, environmental, and social factors. Suppliers that pass the evaluation will be included in the approved vendor database and given priority for future collaboration.
