We have adopted corresponding handling methods and approval procedures for different procurement amounts pursuant to CSU Procurement Regulations which have been formulated in accordance with the Government Procurement Act. Services provided by suppliers mostly consist of provision of office equipment and materials, supply of instruments and devices, contracting services, and manpower services (e.g., cleaning and security). The number of suppliers in 2022 remained 1,431, basically unchanged compared to the previous year.
Our supplier evaluation mechanism which is currently in the planning stage is scheduled to be implemented in 2025. This evaluation mechanism is based on key factors in the management, environmental, and social dimensions.
If suppliers pass these evaluations, they are listed as qualified suppliers and preferred cooperation partners in the database.consecutive years.
