Outstanding Corporate Citizenship in Action! Coretronic Corporation (TW:5371) Supports Cheng Shiu University Students for the Sixth Consecutive Year through the “Masters of Their Craft, Dream Builders of the Future” Scholarship Program

As a listed company recognized for its sustainability leadership, Coretronic Corporation has demonstrated its commitment to corporate social responsibility by continuously offering scholarships and internship opportunities to outstanding students at Cheng Shiu University (CSU) for six consecutive years. This support empowers students to pursue their academic goals without financial burdens and realize the vision of “employment upon graduation.”

In 2024, the “Masters of Their Craft, Dream Builders of the Future” scholarship was awarded to Pan Po-Ping, a student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He received a NT$100,000 scholarship, and in his senior year, he will undertake a fully paid internship at Coretronic with free accommodation. Additionally, he will receive an extra NT$50,000 internship scholarship.

Industry-Academia Partnership Driving Talent Development

Located beside the scenic Chengqing Lake, CSU was awarded over NT$240 million in grants from the Ministry of Education’s Higher Education Sprout Project—ranking first among private universities of science and technology in Taiwan. The university is also highly rated in CommonWealth Magazine's evaluation of Taiwan's top-performing vocational institutions. Its reputation for nurturing practical talent has made it a key partner for Coretronic, which has co-hosted this scholarship program with CSU for six years.

A selection meeting was recently held at CSU, attended by Coretronic Deputy Director Huang Chun-Jung, Director Wu Kun-You, Senior Manager Tsai Chia-Lun, Manager Ho Pei-Ling, and Specialist Lee You-Hsuan. Eligible students from CSU’s Departments of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering presented their professional skills and potential contributions to Coretronic if given the opportunity to join the company.

Deputy Director Huang explained that Coretronic, founded in 1992 and headquartered in the Hsinchu Science Park, has long positioned itself as a global provider of innovative display system integration solutions. He emphasized that corporate social responsibility (CSR) is deeply valued by the company.
