In 2023, the Kaohsiung City Government established the Net-Zero Academy to provide educational support for carbon reduction policies and the achievement of net-zero targets. In alignment with these efforts, Cheng Shiu University’s College of Health and Management, in partnership with the Kaohsiung Environmental Protection Bureau, launched the ISO 14068-1 Internal Auditor Certification Program on Carbon Neutrality—a critical step toward enabling carbon reduction and industrial transformation.

The three-day program combined theory with practical applications, equipping participants with a solid understanding of the technical requirements outlined in international carbon neutrality standards.

ISO 14068-1 Certification: A Professional Credential for Green-Collar Talent

Participants included master’s students from the Department of Business Administration at CSU, as well as full-time faculty members. Upon completing the course and passing a final assessment, all participants were awarded the ISO 14068-1 Internal Auditor Certification by DNV.
